Experiencias de trabajadores sociales en la educación formal bajo la Ley Subvención Escolar Preferencial

Abstract

El tema de trabajo social y educación es un campo poco estudiado por la profesión, sin embargo, contiene en ella aspectos de suma importancia en el crecimiento y desarrollo de los niños, niñas y jóvenes, siendo esa área en donde se generan sus destrezas sociales y determina su desenvolvimiento en el contexto social. Es por eso que el objetivo de este estudio se centró en comprender las experiencias de los trabajadores sociales en establecimientos educacionales bajo la Ley Sep, desde lo cual se planteó recopilar información que profundizara en el aspecto anteriormente mencionado. La metodología utilizada en este trabajo investigativo dice relación con lo cualitativo, ya que, desde esa mirada se rescatan aspectos más profundos respecto a lo que se buscaba conocer que eran las experiencias. Ahora bien, en cuanto a los resultados de este trabajo, se obtuvo información que contribuyó a llenar el vacío teórico que existía en el tema de interés, dejando también abierto a que se sigan planteando nuevas formas de abordar la temática de educación en el trabajo social. En suma, como conclusión del trabajo investigativo, el grupo de estudio logró en su mayoría dilucidar los objetivos que se habían planteado en una primera instancia, entregando de esa forma, datos e información de utilidad para futuras investigaciones.

The interconnectedness between social work and education is an issue that has been minimally studied. However, it has the potential to provide very important information about the growth and development of children and young people, as the early years spent in any educational setting are crucial to the development of skills needed to be successful in a social context. For this reason, the main objective of this study centered around trying to understand the experiences of social workers in educational establishments under Ley Sep. by collecting relevant data that would deepen our understanding of the aforementioned issue.The methodology used in this investigative work focused on the collection of qualitative data, in order to gather more details about the experiences and impressions of social workers in the educational field.Regarding the results of this work, relevant information was obtained that contributed to fill some of the gaps that currently exist in this subject. It also provides new insight to continue considering different ways to address issues surrounding the link between education and social work. As a conclusion of this investigative work, the study group managed to elucidate the objectives that had been raised in the first instance, thus delivering useful data and information for future research.
