Puesta en valor del patrimonio en áreas naturales, mediante un manual turístico patrimonial : Santuario de la Naturaleza Valle Cochamó

Abstract

El número de visitantes en los espacios naturales ha ido en aumento, siendo la razón principal la realización de actividades de turismo de aventura y valor paisajístico. Por ello, el objetivo de esta investigación fue proporcionar información sobre el estado actual de las experiencias turísticas en el Valle Cochamó y su relación con la interpretación de la naturaleza, el patrimonio cultural y biocultural durante la visita. Para llevar a cabo esto se ha realizado en primera instancia una búsqueda de información secundaria, para luego continuar con la exploración de fuentes primarias, o sea con la comunidad local que cohabita con el Santuario de la Naturaleza Valle Cochamó. Para esto se realizó un trabajo de campo en la localidad de Cochamó y también en el Valle Cochamó, llevando a cabo una serie de entrevistas a actores relevantes para obtener información de primera fuente sobre el lugar y de las experiencias vividas por las personas en torno a la naturaleza. Además, la investigación ofrece una visión panorámica de las etapas a realizar para la elaboración de un Manual de Patrimonio Turístico, que busca poner de relieve la naturaleza y el patrimonio cultural de los espacios naturales, con esto presentando cómo nace la figura de protección que rige al Valle Cochamó, su patrimonio natural como la geografía, geomorfología y biodiversidad, y también presenta el patrimonio cultural de la zona. El manual pretendía incluir contenidos relacionados con la creación de la figura de protección del Santuario de la Naturaleza Valle Cochamó, el patrimonio natural, geografía y geomorfología, la biodiversidad del lugar y el patrimonio cultural. Al mismo tiempo, quiso permitir al visitante entender el vínculo entre la biodiversidad existente en el lugar y cómo se relacionaba esta con la comunidad local.

The number of visitors in the natural spaces has been increasing, the main reason being the realization of adventure tourism activities and landscape value. Therefore, the objective of this research was to provide information on the current state of tourism experiences in the Cochamó Valley and its relationship with the interpretation of nature, cultural and biocultural heritage during the visit. To carry out this, a search for secondary information has been carried out in the first instance, to then continue with the exploration of primary sources, that is, with the local community that cohabit with the Valle Cochamó Nature Sanctuary. For this, field work was carried out in the town of Cochamó and also in the Cochamó Valley, conducting a series of interviews with relevant actors to obtain firsthand information about the place and the experiences lived by people around nature. In addition, the research offers an overview of the stages to be carried out for the elaboration of a Tourist Heritage Manual, which seeks to highlight the nature and cultural heritage of natural spaces, with this presenting how the protection figure that governs the Cochamó Valley, its natural heritage such as geography, geomorphology and biodiversity, and also presents the cultural heritage of the area. The manual aimed to include content related to the creation of the protection figure of the Valle Cochamó Nature Sanctuary, natural heritage, geography and geomorphology, site biodiversity and cultural heritage. At the same time, it wanted to allow the visitor to understand the link between the biodiversity existing in the place and how it related to the local community.
